Our First Red Flag
Filed under: The Fosters;2 CommentsI’ve been watching the kitten’s eyes opening. it’s now been 19 days since birth. They should all be opened by now. But we’ve got one slow poke! His eyes aren’t quite there. It’s starting to concern me. I also posted this on a forum I frequent and got some advice I should start using warm water and cotton pads to gently try to open it over the next couple days. If it doesn’t work I’ve been told I should take him to the vet.

Spoiled Mom Cat!
Filed under: The Fosters; No CommentsTell me she’s not spoiled? High quality dry food, and two different kinds of wet food. Not to mention once a day I bring in a small dish of goat milk.

And what’s the deal with this black kitten? he gets stomped on all the time!!!

Names. seven new names to come up with
Filed under: The Fosters;3 CommentsI don’t have to name these munchkins but I’m going to. I just can’t figure out what to do. Go with a theme or just name them for what they come across as to me. Not sure yet.
There are definitely some personalities coming through now. Some are much more curious than others and mom is getting pretty irritated with the black one because he is constantly trying to use her face as a rock climbing wall.
One of the tabby’s escaped the box today and mom didn’t make a move to get her. instead she meowed as loud as possible, over and over and over and over until I finally came in to see what was wrong. I picked it up and put it back and she flopped over wanting tummy rubs which knocked all the lunch eaters off. what a spoiled brat!
