Tinker is a mutt! I got her and her brother back in February this year (2008).

She had a very difficult time for the first month of her life. She ended up getting a parasite that gave her the worst diarhea. It was awful. I felt so bad for her. Her little butt got extremely sore and red. in fact, all of her ‘bits’ got swollen and red. She couldn’t control her bowels at all and would just kind of go wherever she was. even laying on her back in my arms.

I gave her a bath and fed her some medicine I got from the vet and just like a snap of the fingers she was fine. It was as bad as it could get though. She couldn’t play, wouldn’t walk much and screamed when she went to the bathroom. I was very afraid she’s dehydrate and die, but given subq fluids she pulled through fine.

She started out being the loving cat. She still climbs up on the desk and plants herself on my face. One day I set up the tripod and waited. Finally she did it so I got a picture. Normally she’s asleep here but the camera noise woke her up:

Tinker also had this terrible habit of chewing on my fingers. Not metaphorically, but sincerely. it HURT after awhile. I got a short video of her doing it and like an idiot i edited in some 6th grade looking text on the video. Forgive me.

She’s about 1.5 months old here and cute as hell.
