This little gal came to me as a pregnant foster and she’s the basis behind this whole site. I got her September second and she had her babies a few days later.

She’s had a tough life. She’s a stray that wandered into an industrial area in someone’s office. The lady that found her called her vet who happened to find the Desert Paws Rescue group. I had offered my services as a foster provider already. In fact I was suppose to have gotten a cat a week earlier but hey couldn’t find her. So Madonna came over. She’s a tiny cat. Can’t be more than a year old and I think she’s a lot younger than that.

She’s had a rough life as a stray. The right side of her nose has collapsed (the nasal passage) and it looks like it was bitten. This causes her to wheeze just a little when she breathes heavy, and it makes her purring extremely loud. But that part is cute You can kind of see it here:

I’ll be keeping her until all her kittens are adopted out at about 10 weeks. Then we’ll find her a home. If not, she’s welcome here forever.
