This site is dedicated to my experience managing foster cats. This is my first time, and so far it’s been a pleasure. Stressful at times, but well worth it.

Madonna is my foster cat and she had seven kittens on Sept 8. Now we go through the process of raising them until they’re old enough to take away from mom (about 10 weeks) and adopt out to loving homes.

One of the nice things about the rescue group I’m working with is they have a pretty good screening process. First the people fill out an application that is verified and checked. Then they have to pay $100.00. This is good because it ensures there’s at least some sort of investment here and not just some schmuck that’s wanting a free cat that’ll blow it off after a week.

I’ll be chronicling this entire experience. All the way to the point which I’m sure will break my heart when they all leave.
