Time to catch up a little
Filed under: The Fosters;Don’t have a ton of time, things are hectic right now. but i’ll say this. Kittens make a lot of noise as they grow up and they find ways to pounce on your head while you’re asleep. For no reason at all. At least mine do.
The other thing I found interesting. You know how kittens pile up together when they sleep? Well they’ve determined that I need to get involved. When i go in to watch TV they pile up on me. I always fold my arm across my chest so one of them can sleep there. They seem to like it. but slowly, all of them make their way up there. To the point that I have to lift my head and hold my chin high so I don’t smash them. You would not believe how much heat they generate. I can be sitting there comfortable and they pile on. Inside of 20 minutes I’m sweating profusely. No joke.
With that, here are some pictures I took last night. I don’t even bother saying which name goes to which cat when it comes to the white ones, I can’t even tell anymore.Aby really like to lay on her back and play with my hands. She doens’t bite them, just softly scrapes them with her paws. She does it so gently it’s cute. Often times her paws will end up together and it looks like she’s praying.
After playing she gets tuckerd out. Here she was biting her feet and tail. Sometimes they don’t realize they’re biting their own body. Aby will do it sometimes then cry out because she bites too hard. Seriously.

Don’t bother us, we’re a sleep

When the kittens pile up and I get too hot I have to move them off me and they stare at me like I’m an idiot.

You can’t really tell but this blanket is ruined. IN order to preserve my bed spread I fold it over when I lay down because the cats love to play on and around my legs. But this blanket took the brunt of the attacks, and has so many snags it’s just destroyed.

Everyone is happy and healthy. I can’t believe how much they’ve grown. They almost look like cats!

I’ll really miss watching Abby grow up once she’s adopted. She’s my favorite–I love her coat and the looks she gives you. What a character.

Is the brown tabby on its back Aby? It looks like a little boy… and has the brick colored nose of Johnny….

Only one comment for now…could you ensure that the babies are adopted out at 12 weeks and not younger please. In my experience, 12 -16 weeks is the perfect age for adoption and not any younger. This way you ensure that they are well socialised (human and cats), 100% litter box trained AND most importantly, neutered and completely vaccinated.
Aby is growing up well and beautifully as any of my namesakes should!

I don’t have control over that. But at the point we’re at now, after we get the spay/neutering done and the second round of vaccinations it looks like it’ll be about 11 weeks
